When I turned 40, I decided to try yoga. I got online and found a studio open on Saturdays and that is how I ended up doing yoga for the first time. The reason I practiced yoga initially was to lose weight, get healthy, and help the flexibility and mobility in my arm, which has a metal plate in it. I reached those goals far beyond my expectations!
Little did I know then that yoga was more than just body poses! I quickly learned that yoga was a whole practice that could help me not just physically, but mentally and spiritually.
I am the happiest when I am on my mat. Even when the practice is hard, I’m tired or hungry, I’m feeling cranky or my body hurts, I would still rather be on my mat than anywhere else. I am excited to share my love of yoga and help you find a connection with your mind and body!
